Barnardo’s Yorkshire

In April 2008 Leeds Reach and Barnardo’s Yorkshire developed a complimentary partnership. To highlight the partnership approach Leeds REACH will at times adopt the name Leeds REACH @ Barnardo’s. The partnership has allowed us to embed ‘service outcomes’ which permits us to evaluate our impact and intervention. We are fortunate to have such a reputable national children’s charity supporting our infrastructure and we are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Barnardo’s staff pooling knowledge, experience and expertise.

Additional Leeds REACH @ Barnardo’s partnership aims:

• Develop and enhance the Leeds REACH provision
• Develop after school diversionary activities for young people
• Provide an advice service or signpost parents to other appropriate provision
• Offer some continuing holiday provision for young people engaged within the service particularly during the long summer holiday and Easter
• Develop opportunities for young people aged 16 – 19 years old living in north east Leeds
